Martin Bies     

He was born December 1st in Bratislava, Slovakia. The family roots of the Bies come from the south of Spain-Andalucia.
Since his age of thirteen he is played guitar. In the year 1992 graduated music Conservatory in Bratislava. The beginnings of his career as a flamenco guitarist are connected with the Paco Peňa flamenco school of guitar, following the tradition of big Spanish guitarists - Sabicas, Niňo Ricardo and Ramón Montoya. In the further period concentrated exclusivelly on the play of the most popular follower of this tradition, Paco de Lucia, with whom he was personally introduced by Juan Manuel Caňizares, a young guitarist and Paco de Lucia's play mate. From the youngest guitarists comes mainly from Vicente Amigo and Tomatito.
During the years 1987-1994, he was a member of the group Andalucia. Since the year 1988, he performs his first performance with group Andalucia, as a solo guitar player and also presents his first own compositions. After that he played in the goups Flamenco and La Brisa, until the year 1997, when he enstablished his own group Flamenco Clan, and creates a performance which was presented at international festivals and concerts.
From the year 1995, he was a guest performer at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava, in the opera Don Quijotte, accompanying famous opera divas, such as Sisa Sklovská and Jitka Saparová-Fischerová. During the years 1997-2000, he performed as an actor (Don José's accomplice in a libretto) as well as a flamenco guitarist, in the ballet Carmen. For the first time in the entire history of the Slovak National Theatre, this ballet was the only one to have created space for the performance of a flamenco artist. In Carmen, he presented his own flamenco compositions along with the music of George Bizet and Paco de Lucia, which he also interpreted. In June 1999, together with an orchestra, he was invited to accompany the famous Karel Gott in a ceremonial gala concert, which took place on stage at the SNT. Up until now, Martin Bies is the only flamenco interpreter who has acted in performances at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava.
During the years 2003-2004, he performed in a series of concerts in a Slovak tour that presented flamenco fused with traditional Arabic music, together with the Flamenco Clan and the Orient Trio (Libya-Syria) formation.
In his concerts, Martin Bies currently presents his own production, as well as the compositions of other famous flamenco guitarists, which he arranged and adapts into a synthesis of flamenco guitar, song and dance.
Up to the present he had concerts in Slovak and Czech republic, Spain, Israel, Germany, Austria, Hungary and short records of his performances were broadcasted by Dubai Tv, ORF, CTV, STV, television Markíza, VTV, Slovak radio, Okey radio and Rádio_FM.

He comes from gipsy district (barrio gitano) in Myjava, west Slovakia. This young gipsy singer belongs to the school of legendary singer Camarón de la Isla. Demo is undoubtedly the biggest personality from flamenco singers in Central and Eastern Europe.

Jaro Harvan  - flute
born 1964
In the year 1984 he graduated from the University of performing arts in Bratislava. He worked in the symphonic orchestra in Oviedo, Spain. Since 1985 he has been the prime flute player of the orchestra of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. He had concerts in Japan, USA, Israel, Italy, Nederland, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Czech and Slovak republic.

Matúš Kľúčik - „Llavesitas“ in the year 2001 graduated music Conservatory in Bratislava, line classic guitar. During the years 1997-1999 played second guitar in Flamenco clan. Since 2004 is again member of Clan. He is also guitarist, composer and producer in groups Love 4 Money and Animal Crackers.

Peter Vítek - e-bass
born 1972
He comes from the Bies family, he is a cousin of Martin Bies. In the years 1987 - 1995 he played in a jazz - rock group DMNZ. After that he formed a multigenre formation CI5. As a bass guitar player he belongs to pupils of the excellent Spanish bass guitarist Carlos Benavent, who is a founder of flamenco bass guitar and a music partner of Paco de Lucia.

In 1999 he graduated from the music Conservatory in Bratislava. He was a member of many rock and jazz groups. Juro Vitéz accompanies Martin Bies since 1993 and at present he also plays in the group Le Payaco.

Matúš Kohútek - „El Gallito“ is cajón and darbuka player, flamenco dancer and pianist. He studies flamenco dance in Academia de Baile (Jerez de la Frontera), Academia Contratiempos (Málaga) and in the year 2003 Juan Polvillo's dance course in Sevilla. He cooperated with sephardic singer Timna Brauer & Elias Meiri ensemble.

La Gatita  - flamenco dance
born in 1985
She has been dancing since the year 1998 in group Andalucia, where she was dancing until the year 2001. La Gatita is a pupil of dancer Renata La Mina and graduater courses of the well known spanish dance interprets and also Juan Polvillo (2002) and Belén Maya (2005, Jerez de la Frontera).
